Friday's sale of working dogs at Skipton once again saw a strong trade for the best of the dogs on offer, with a top price of 3600gns paid for 13 month old black-and-white bitch Dot from John Bell, Howden, Selby.
This one is by 2008 international trials champion Mirk from Kvein Evans, Brecon, and out of Floss, the top priced bitch at the 2007 Kendal sale and now owned by John Wheaton. She sold... |

A skinned dog with broken leg and severe head injuries has been found hanging from a suburban streets sign north of Brisbane.
The dead dog, possibly a pet or a wild dingo, skinned and left on public display, was pulled down from the Rifle Fish Road sign at Tin Can Bay, near Gympie, last week by local man Greg Robinson, who photographed it before calling police.
