Description: A condition characterized by the inability of the animal to control its urinary bladder resulting in urinating involuntarily. Female dogs are more prone to this condition. Some of the most common predisposing causes include bladder infections, excessive water consumption, weak bladder muscles, urinary tract infections, or spinal cord disease. Surgery may be needed to correct any underlying causes.
