Description: A disorder that results in the inability of the elbow to develop properly. Normal development of the elbow occurs when the elbow joints, ulna, and anconeal process normally fuse together. The failure to fuse results in an ununited Anconeal Process manifested by swelling,lameness, and pain. Surgery is often indicated to correct the abnormality. When left untreated, the animal will experience intense pain and the affected limb will completely lose its function.
