Dogs with Osteosarcoma exhibit lameness, pain, and swelling. The abnormal tumor growth can be spotted on x-ray results where the bone has been damaged. A biopsy may be required by your veterinarian. Being an aggressive form of cancer, most veterinarians recommend surgical amputation of the affected area.
