Description: Caused by Canine Adenovirus I, the infectious agent is present in the urine, nasal discharges, blood, and saliva. Clinical manifestations include tenderness of the abdomen when palpated as a result of the infection in the liver. The virus also causes a bleeding disorder that lead to spontaneous hemorrhages. Fever, anorexia, and depression are also present. Vaccination against Infectious Canine Hepatitis provides adequate protection to your dog. Symptomatic treatment is given to dogs suffering from the disease.
