It may be an inherited condition or an in-utero infection while the puppy is still in the wound. A dog with Hypomyelination often shows full body tremors particularly when it is excited. Your veterinarian will conduct nerve conduction tests to verify initial diagnosis. There has been no successful treatment for Hypomyelination however there are some cases where a dog resume myelin development to normal amounts as they grow to maturity.
