The resulting condition leads to the gradual breakdown of the brain’s white matter. Clinical manifestations include incoordination, vision problems, muscular tremors, stiff gait, and noticeable changes in behavior. Diagnosis is made based on an MRI and blood tests conducted by your veterinarian. There has been no successful treatment for Globoid Cell Leukodystrophy.
