Unlike Parvovirus infections, vomitting is not a common occurrence. However, it is difficult to differentiate Coronavirus from Parvovirus based on clinical signs alone. Laboratory tests will help diagnose the existing condition. Adult dogs may have sufficient protection from Coronavirus infections. Infected puppies should be given supportive fluid therapy (i.e. intravenous infusion of electrolytes) to prevent dehydration. Vaccination will offer adequate protection to the disease.
