Description: An allergy is one of the most common skin conditions often seen in many breeds of dogs. However, this immune disorder can also be manifested by respiratory signs including sneezing and wheezing. There are also instances when allergies are manifested by vomiting and/or diarrhea. Allergies are caused by an overproduction of mast cells that result in an extreme response often leading to inflammation and itchy skin. Some of the most common causes of allergies are food, flea, and inhaled allergens.
